Renfrewshire Carers Centre is holding an information session on the Self Directed Support
Bill on Friday 3rd February at 11am in the Centre.

Lynn Williams the Policy Officer of the Princess Royal Trust for Carers will give an overview
of the Bill outlining what it means to those requiring support and carers. We have also asked
local MSP’s to come along to listen to your views which will hopefully influence the final Act
or the guidance.

Self directed support is a way for people to get the support they need to be part of their
community and to stay fit and healthy. Self Directed Support bill aims to improve the quality
of life of people who require care and support through increased choice and control over the
services they receive.
