Hourglass Scotland

Hourglass Scotland Logo

Hourglass Scotland is the only charity in Scotland, part of a broader UK-wide charity, dedicated to calling time on the harm, abuse and exploitation of older people. We support older people experiencing (or at risk of) harm, abuse or exploitation, and work towards safer ageing and a fairer society for all older people.

Previously known as Action on Elder Abuse Scotland, we rebranded in 2020 to allow us to engage with more people, and also work towards a preventative approach as well as supporting older people who have experienced abuse.

Our vision is simple - we are dedicated to calling time on the harm and abuse of older people.
