ACUMEN (Argyll & Clyde United in Mental Health)
ACUMEN operates within Argyll & Bute, Renfrewshire, Inverclyde, East Renfrewshire & West Dunbartonshire.
ACUMEN enables people who ‘use’ Mental Health Services to ‘improve’ Mental Health Services, therefore positive communication is at the core of our operations and we are committed to continually improving and reviewing our modes of communication, amongst our members and key contacts.
Membership of ACUMEN is open to mental health service users and carers (over the age of 18) who are residents of the Operating Area (Argyll & Bute, East Renfrewshire, Inverclyde, Renfrewshire or West Dunbartonshire) and who have direct experience of mental ill health or who have cared for someone with mental health problems.(This does not include individuals whose experience of caring has been solely in a professional capacity).
