Affa Sair

Affa Sair (Scots for "Awfully Sore" is a charity designed to help chronic pain sufferers. The charity Affa Sair (SCIO) SC049728 was established, to formalise how to relieve the needs of pain sufferers. Specifically, to assist in the furtherance of knowledge about chronic pain conditions to provide a strong presence for chronic pain sufferers and to educate the public, politicians, media, organisations and NHS Staff on the plight and needs of chronic pain sufferers.

We currently have over 590 members with most of the interactions taking place on our closed Facebook Group.

In 2021, Affa Sair became a member of the Scottish Government’s National Advisory Committee on Chronic pain (NACCP).
