Annexe Communities

Annexe Communities Logo

Annexe Communities is a community-led development trust working with people living in the Partick and Thornwood neighbourhoods of Glasgow.

We develop initiatives to improve wellbeing and reduce health inequalities. We strive to build community capacity and support local people to get actively involved in activities – shaping and developing new ideas. We train and encourage people to take up volunteering and support their personal development to get involved in their local area.

Annexe Communities works with local people to develop and deliver activity programmes and wellbeing services. These include a community cafe, walking groups, art groups, relaxation workshops, music groups, healthy cooking, wellbeing support, a social prescribing service and large outdoor, seasonal community events.

We also serve as a local community anchor organisation – joining the dots between people, organisations and agencies, identifying and addressing gaps and planning action.
