Buchan Community Farm

Buchan Community Farm offers a unique service in Aberdeenshire.
At a 49-acre farm in central Buchan, we provide a safe, peaceful and relaxing environment for people to participate in countryside activities.
Working with horses, farm animals, small animals, horticulture, light maintenance, woodwork, and arts and crafts in a therapeutic way, people can experience country life whilst at the same time improve their well-being, health and happiness.
We are here to help anyone, with any life challenges or social exclusion.
This can be anyone in need of help because of age, education, health, impairment or any other requirement for our assistance.
Anyone can benefit from attending the farm, in particular, we can help build:
• Mental wellbeing
• Confidence
• Relationships
• Communication
• Teamwork
• Responsibility
• Focus and reaction
Our tailored service provides:
• Skills development placements
• One-to-ones to build up confidence slowly
• Group Courses

We also offer certificated short courses such as the ASDAN short course in the Care of Animals or Gardening.

outcomes in are:
 Independence and Skills
