Deveron Canoe Club

Deveron Canoe Club was formed in 2007 by paddlers in the Banff area of Aberdeenshire. Our members are interested in sea kayaking, kayak surfing, canoe polo, and river paddling in both kayaks and open canoes.

Banff has some great paddling opportunities - The River Deveron is a beautiful river, with enough challenge for the novice. There is a varied coastline with big cliffs, caves, marine wildlife and great beaches for a picnic. Some of the beaches have excellent surf, when the conditions are right. The Rivers Don, Dee, Spey and Findhorn, are within easy driving distance for weekend trips on moderate whitewater.

Our membership covers a wide range of ages and abilities, and the club has a fleet of club kayaks and canoes, to help get you started.
