New Opportunities

The New Opportunities Project in North Motherwell was established in 2007. Its purpose is to support local families and strengthen the community by providing opportunities for people to participate in new activities.

Central to the project is the belief that local people themselves have the skills and good will to develop activities for the benefit of all. At present more than 35 local volunteers from North Motherwell have undergone training and are participating regularly in running the project.
