NHS Highland Technology Enabled Care
Telecare is an emergency alarm and remote monitoring system.
By providing support 24 hours a day / 365 days a year, the system enables people to stay safe and independent in their own homes for longer.
When something significant happens at home (such as a fall, fire, or someone leaving their home) an alarm call is raised to the NHS Highland Hub Response Centre. The operator will try to find out what is happening and then arrange the necessary help, which could be to contact one of the client's nominated responders (e.g. family and neighbours), or the emergency services.
We offer internal telecare for people who have carers that live in the same property.
