We provide one-to-one support to young people between the ages of four and 18 using therapeutic play and specialised grief activities to help them understand how a death has impacted upon their lives. We see children from Glasgow and the surrounding areas and have no geographical boundary.
We provide individual support on a weekly basis. During the sessions we’ll explore memories, talk about feelings and help develop coping strategies. Sometimes the death may have been traumatic, if the person died through a sudden illness, accident, suicide, or murder. Even if the death is anticipated, due to a long illness, children can still be shocked and need help to understand what happened and deal with their feelings.
