South Lanarkshire Self Directed Support Network

We are an organisation of choice

Self-directed support and personalisation describe how the provision of health and social care services is changing to become more service-user focused, with more choice, control and empowerment resting with the people who use services. The personalisation agenda includes individual budgets, direct payments, self-directed support and individual service funds.

The network is user-led and shall seek to research examples of best practice, to provide a voice for members and or their families and promote the social model of disability philosophy of Independent Living throughout South Lanarkshire
