Drama Club

by Venchie Children And Young Peoples Project

Every Friday from 12:30pm to 2pm we have our Drama Club, for children from Primary 4 to Second Year at school.

Children often get creative when doing role play in the playground and giving them this more structured form of role play encourages many good things. The children enjoy the club and find it to be lots of fun - and it has other benefits too.

As well as building on their skills and allowing children to use their imagination, there are many other benefits such as learning to work in a team, respecting others, building confidence, promoting inclusion and cooperation to name but a few.

We do two productions a year, one of them in conjunction with Lyceum Youth Theatre at the Royal Lyceum Theatre. Although not open to the public, parents and guardians are invited to our production at the Lyceum.

Please get in touch to enquire about your child attending our Drama Club.
