Community Link Workers

Community Link Workers provide a free service for older adults living independently within Aberdeenshire. We offer assistance to the older adult to access activities, resources or organisations. This enables them to remain active and engaged in their community and reduces isolation and loneliness.
Working on a one-to-one basis, we are able to provide a tailored approach to meet the needs of the individual client. Support can vary from just sharing information about local activity groups, to accompanying clients, on a short-term basis, to social activities.
Clients can be referred to us by any organisation working with them, by a family member or friend, or they can self-refer.
