Junior Academy

Junior Academy is a fun, structured coaching programme aimed at introducing children to football, preparing children for team football and providing additional training for players within grassroots football clubs. The Junior Academy also offers a pathway to Dundee United's Youth Academy. Each hour-long session will be structured to ensure players receive a fun, high quality coaching session that improves their technical ability and decision making.

Junior Academy runs 40 weeks of the year, starting on Saturday 18th/Sunday 19th August. In addition to the 40 sessions per year, Junior Academy members will have the opportunity to play on Tannadice Park, be selected as a mascot for a Dundee United FC match and those who take advantage of the early bird offer will receive a free Dundee United Junior Academy kit.

Sessions for 5+6 year olds & 7+8 year olds will take place indoors at Showcase the Street from October-April and outdoors at the GA Arena from April-October. Sessions for 9+10 year olds & 11+12 year olds will take place outdoors at the GA Arena all year round.

- 5+6 year olds: Sundays, 9-10am
- 7+8 year olds: Sundays, 10-11am
- 9+10 year olds: Saturdays, 9-10am
- 11+12 year olds: Saturdays, 10-11am

The annual cost of Junior Academy is £151.20 per child, which is separated into 12 affordable monthly payments of £12.60. We also offer a 50% discount for any additional siblings who wish to attend Junior Academy, eg 1 child would equate to £12.60 per month, 2 children would equate to £18.90 per month etc.

For those re-registering for the 2019-2020 Junior Academy, please complete the registration and subscription on Class4Kids then cancel your existing standing order - do not update your existing standing order form. Any duplicated payments will be refunded.
