Festive Friends

For the past 3 years the Partick Thistle Charitable Trust have been inviting the elderly who would otherwise spend Christmas day alone to our humble The Energy Check Stadium at Firhill for food, some entertainment, a small gift and most importantly company!

How Festive Friends Works

Identify – We identify vulnerable or isolated groups, through existing programmes or partnerships.

Accessibility – Transport is organised for participants to attend and return home from the event.

Dinner – A full Christmas Dinner is served for everyone.

Fun – Fun and enjoyable entertainment is put on for all the guest, we even give everyone a small gift!

Listen – Volunteers on the day take the time to listen to guests and talk to them.

We ask that if you know, work with or support any elderly person who otherwise would be spending Christmas day alone, please invite them.
