The group aims to encourage individuals to share their existing skills and to learn new skills. Many crafts are available including: knitting; crochet; embroidery; using the sewing machine; decoupage; glass-painting or bring along something you’ve been working on at home. There’s something for everyone and it’s not all hard work, there is always time to chat and make new friends over a cup of tea and a biscuit.
Most skills are learned from others within the group, but we also have some specialist guest ‘crafters’ with sessions including flower arranging, jewellery-making and painting.
If you have skills to share or would like to learn something new or if you just want to meet some new people locally, we would be delighted to see you.
