Arts and Theatre Projects
by Fast Forward Positive Lifestyles Ltd Claimed
Fast Forward’s Arts and Theatre projects are designed for Scottish young people to raise awareness and pose questions on a variety of risk-taking behaviours.
These projects draw on the ideas, experiences and imaginations of young people across Scotland to create and deliver high-quality, thought-provoking pieces of theatre, film and online games for young people.
Since 2016, nine new Peer-Theatre plays have been produced and toured to over 400 High Schools and Academies in every Scottish Local Authority, by over 79,000 young people, including;
‘Balisong’ on knife crime
‘Trust Me’ on gambling
‘Wasted’ on alcohol
‘The Tea Play’ on consent
More information on these projects is below.
The ‘Own It’ project was developed in response to the Covid-19 pandemic, creating and develop online games.
To deliver Arts and Theatre projects, Fast Forward has been supported by funding partners including Young Start, The Scottish Whisky Action Fund (SWAF), No Knives Better Lives (NKBL), National Voluntary Organisations Support Fund (NVOSF) and GambleAware.
