Black, Asian and Minority Ethnic (BAME) Support

Our BAME Carer Support Worker’s role is to identify and engage with BAME Carers and support them to access available services. This includes:

Providing information about new initiatives, policies and legislation
Supporting Carers individually and in groups
Providing written/oral translation in Urdu, Punjabi & English
Negotiation and mediation, form filling and access to benefits/grants
We have produced information leaflets for carers in the following languages;
