Candu (Dundee Cancer Support Network)

by Candu (Dundee Cancer Support Network) SCIO Claimed

We are a patient and survivor-led charity supporting people affected by cancer throughout Tayside.

We will be visiting communities throughout 2019 to offer wellbeing activities for people affected by cancer who may have difficulty accessing existing support.

The CANDU team also deliver creative arts and crafts workshops for people affected by cancer including Wonderbox workshops where you can join friends and make the eco-friendly, energy and money saving slow cooker, that just happens to look a lot like a bean bag!

New craft workshops will continue at various venues across Dundee in 2019 and we hope you are able to join us. All materials are provided.

CANDU is working in partnership with the Dundee Therapist Network to provide specialist complementary therapies and wellbeing services for patients living with cancer.

We are able to offer access to free therapies for patients at any stage of their cancer journey at locations across the city.

This includes oncology massage, body stress release, oncology reflexology and clinical mindfulness-based approaches.
