GREC casework offers support, advice, advocacy and mediation services to all people with protected characteristics, according to the 2010 Equality Act. The aim is to tackle and eliminate discrimination and victimisation whenever possible and challenge hate crime and prejudice that many people experience because of their protected characteristics. The service offers a confidential, non-judgmental and inclusive service to all those experiencing unfair treatment. The service aim’s to offer a safe environment where service users feel able to trust that their concerns are treated seriously and with respect and privacy. It offers an open door policy where service users will be offered a full face to face appointment within five working days.
