Community Mental Health Team - Aberdeen City Council

The Community Mental Health Team provides a service to people with mental health problems, which values, respects and listens to the individual. We aim to provide support emotionally and practically which enables individuals to take more control of their lives and meet their full potential. this may also involve working with and supporting families and both informal and professional carers.

Mental Health officers within the team carry out duties according to the Mental Health Act and also undertake assessments under the Adults with Incapacity Act.
