Anyone is welcome to come and try one of our walks. We feel sure you will then be keen to join the Ramblers and enjoy our company regularly.
Walks are organised every two weeks, either Saturday or Sunday, in addition to occasional mid-week walks. In the summer programme, evening walks of 2-3 hours are scheduled during the week.
We walk throughout the year, with a varied programme, ranging from leisurely, often local routes, to more demanding mountain and moorland walking. All walks are graded and distance and ascent are given in the walk description to enable you choose one that suits your ability. For your first walk with us you are advised to choose one that might be 'too easy' rather than overstretch yourself.
Dog walkers are welcome. While it's our group policy that walks are dog friendly, unless otherwise stated, please contact the walk leader beforehand to ensure the walk is suitable
