Family events

Guide Dogs family events are a great day out where your family can relax and have fun together – and meet other families with similar stories. They allow children with a vision impairment to build confidence and make lifelong friends.
What’s on?
We host events around the year at a variety of exciting venues, from theatres to zoos, from theme parks to sensory playgrounds. New events are added all the time so visit our webpage to stay up to date.
Family weekends:
If your pre-school age child has recently been diagnosed with sight loss, we run an annual family weekend event especially for you and your family.
Guide Dogs experience days:
You can also come along to family Guide Dogs experience days at our regional centres and find out whet
