Delivered by coaches, the weekly sessions provide a behind-the-scenes look at their local football club along with a programme of exercise and advice on healthy eating and mental health. Taking part in FFIT can cut type 2 diabetes and other obesity related health conditions like heart disease, high blood pressure and high cholesterol.

The programme is aimed at those aged 35 plus with a waist size of 38 inches and a BMI 28 plus (overweight to obese).
