Football Memories is a partnership between Alzheimer Scotland and the Scottish FA and supports people living with dementia through their local football clubs. Using the football club and football memorabilia we look to have a positive impact on peoples lives across the local community and our group not only helps those living with dementia it is open to anyone who wants to come along and share their memories. Through this project we look at different decades in football history and remember some of the days from the past. Also we have speakers who come along and share their stories with us.
What's your favourite football memory? That one moment in football that has stuck with you throughout your life? Inverness Caledonian Thistle Football Club are offering you the chance to relive these memories! So, if you are part of a dementia friendly group and are over the age of 55, we'd love for you to come along and share these memories with us on the last Friday of every month from 10am-12pm at the Caledonian Stadium.
