Free Exercise Service for People with Parkinson's

We are no longer seeing any clients face to face, but we are offering one to one remote physiotherapy consultations via a range of platforms. We are also offering some online exercise classes. please get in touch for more details.

Parkinson's Shetland fund the twice weekly 'Mighty Moves' exercise class for people with early to mid stage Parkinson's disease, on Tuesdays and Fridays at 12.00. The class is led by specialist neurophysiotherapist Margaret Gear, and is adapted to each individual's needs.

People with Parkinson's can also be referred by Margaret to the 'FAB' exercise class for people with more advanced Parkinson's that is run by Shetland Recreational Trust.

Or those who are unable to attend a class can have up to 3 one to one sessions with Margaret, learning home exercises designed to combat Parkinson's symptoms.
