Free Talk: Counselling for looked after children
Our counselling service for Looked After Children offers confidential and independent counselling support for all children looked after and accommodated by Aberdeen City Council. The counsellors are experienced professionals with a background in social work and counselling.
Accommodated children are encouraged to refer themselves by text, telephone, a return slip which is on the service information leaflet, or by asking an adult to refer them.
Counselling takes place in the Freetalk Room at Castle Street. Children and young people may need an adult to ensure their safe transport to and from the sessions.
