Grants

Last reviewed: 06/12/2018

We have three different kinds of grant available to people affected by Motor Neurone Disease (MND) which can help alleviate some of the financial burdens which come with a diagnosis of MND.

Our Small Grant aims to help reduce some of the extra costs that comes as a result of living with MND and can be used to cover many different costs associated with the illness, such as, clothes, utility bills and power of attorney fees.

Our Time Out Grant aims to help give carers and patients a break from their usual routine and can be used for holiday costs and other activities that give carers some time out.

Our Equipment and Adaptations Grant can help with the costs associated with adapting a house for someone with a disability (if they are not covered by statutory grants) or can help with covering the cost of equipment that is essential and cannot be supplied in any other way.
