Impact project – a time to flourish
The Impact Project aims to help people self-manage their long-term mental health conditions. It’s a great opportunity for you try out different things and choose what works best for you. We work with group members on a one to one basis to identify goals and interests, as well as providing a timetable of group activities that will help you to feel more confident in taking your next steps back into your community.
Our timetable has lots of different sessions aimed to build up your confidence and give you opportunities to try new things. Some examples of sessions are: Mindfulness, Art & Craft, Gardening and Singing. Each group member can choose the sessions they attend so that the experience is as beneficial and enjoyable as possible. Staff do not deliver all the timetabled activities at Impact. Instead, the group sessions are run by a combination of staff, tutors and volunteers with lived experience.
