LGBT Age (events and support for LGBT people aged 50+)

by LGBT Health & Wellbeing Claimed

Social Activity, Support Network, Mental Health Issues

LGBT Age is a project run by LGBT Health and Wellbeing for lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender (LGBT) people aged 50 and over in Greater Glasgow, Edinburgh and the Lothians. The project aims to promote health and wellbeing and create social opportunities.

- Social events and information sessions

We deliver monthly social events specifically for LGBT people over 50, offering the chance to meet up with your peers and expand your social networks. The programme is put together with input and suggestions from older LGBT people; all suggestions welcome.

Our quarterly information sessions are special presentations delivered by speakers with expertise on key age-related issues with a particular LGBT focus. These comfortable community gatherings are your chance to learn more and ask questions.
