Delivered by: Ramblers Scotland - Livingston Ramblers This is a Claimed organisation
Last reviewed: 28/03/2019

Formed in 1980, to provide walking and social activities for Ramblers in the southern part of West Lothian, most of our members come from around Livingston, including Bathgate, Blackburn, East, West and Mid Calder, Uphall and Broxburn. We are a friendly and sociable group and our aim is to provide a full and varied walk schedule that can be enjoyed by all. To this end we have a walk programme on Thursdays, Saturdays and Sundays.

The Thursday group meets on alternate Thursdays starting at 10am throughout the year, with most walks between 5 and 8 miles. The Saturday group concentrates on more challenging routes often to Munros and Corbetts, with other, closer hills included, especially in winter. The Sunday group, usually starting at 8am, offers a wide range of walks both low and high level with an aim of providing a variety of walking along river banks, glens or forests, hill climbs and coastal rambles. In addition weekends away to more distant hills are arranged several times a year.
