by RNIB (Royal National Institute for Blind People) ( Disability, Conditions, Health & Social Care Services, Self Directed Support, Sensory Impairment )
Looking Forward is a programme for people who have been diagnosed with sight problems. It provides an opportunity to meet other people, talk about experiences of living with sightloss and share ideas. Sessions cover everything from looking and feeling good, to useful aids and equipment, and making the most of leisure time. Partner agencies also give advice about their services such as advocacy or guide dogs.
The programme is delivered over four short sessions at Dundee Blind & partially Sighted Society on Ward rd. Refreshments are provided and transport can be arranged if required. Carers and partners are encouraged to attend if they wish. As places are limited spaces must be pre booked.
