Due to current public health advice around Coronavirus (COVID-19),this service is closed temporarily.The main Macmillan Support line number is 0808 808 00 00, and is open 7 days a week 8am-8pm. For Argyll specific support please contact Chris Holden, NHS Highland / Macmillan Person Centred Care Project, Macmillan Cancer Support Worker, Mobile: 07866146475, Usual working hours: Monday to Wednesday 9.00 a.m. - 5.00p.m.

In Helensburgh Library we have a comfortable delegated space for you to sit and to look through a wide range of cancer information and support booklets and leaflets. They are free to take away and can be provided in a variety of other languages or audio format if requested. Once a week on a Monday 1.15 p.m. - 3 p.m. we hold "DROP IN MONDAY", which is staffed by trained volunteers who will be there to listen to your worries or concerns and offer free confidential support- whether you've been diagnosed with cancer, or you're a family member or carer. They can also point you in the right direction of other sources of support where needed.
