Papermill Gardens Supported Living Service, Aberdeen

by Penumbra Claimed

Conditions, Health & Social Care Services

The service is situated in a quiet and picturesque residential area of Aberdeen. There are 11 individual flats and staff are available at all times. We provide services that are recognised for their quality and each person can expect a flexible recovery focussed service where support is tailored to meet their needs.

The support may include:

Practical Support — Assistance with life skills and all matters related to enabling people to live in their own flat within the local community.
Social Support — Encouraging people to mix with each other and be part of the local community.
Emotional Support— Underpinning the above two and focusing on building trust and a positive relationship with the support worker. Supported People can expect to be treated with dignity and respect by all members of staff, as they adhere to the National Care Standards and the SSSC Codes of Practice.
Involvement – We expect supported people to be fully involved in the delivery of the service and to have their say. Regular Involvement meetings take place in the Office on the ground floor.
