Self-management Group

by Pain Association Scotland Claimed

Self-management training for people living with chronic pain. Self-management means you being back in control, not the pain controlling you. The ideas on offer are about becoming a person again rather than a patient.

What you will find when you walk through the door:-

*Your pain will be believed
*We do not offer a cure – we do offer the opportunity to learn how to manage your pain
*The group offers you the chance to meet others living with chronic pain and to share experiences and strategies.
*Any activity is at your own pace because each person’s experience of pain is their own.

You do not need a referral from your doctor or other health/ social welfare professional. Simply come along and you will be made to feel welcome.
