Social Care Response Service
by Dundee Health and Social Care Partnership Claimed
If you have mobility problems then you may want to consider the Community Alarm Service. This is a 24 hour 365 day monitoring service that gives you the freedom to live your life independently knowing that you can obtain assistance when you need it.
If you have a problem at home, such as a fall, you can contact the Community Alarm Service, which works via a special alarm unit connected to your telephone line. The alarm unit has a built in button, which you press if you need assistance, or you can use a pendant worn around your neck or a wristband. Trained workers will then decide who is the best person to respond to your home whether that is your key holder, the emergency services of one of our homecare staff. For further information about this scheme, including how people are assessed for the service , please contact the First Contact Team on 01382 434019.
