Support in Mind Scotland - Highlands and Islands Connections

by Support in Mind Scotland - National Information Service Claimed

Building on a previous research project called Well Connected Communities, the Highlands & Islands Project was about exploring how to strengthen community connections so to make a positive difference to the mental well-being of people living in rural areas. The project worked with the National Rural Mental Health Forum and was funded through the Scottish Government’s Aspiring Communities Fund with support from the European Social Fund. Whilst the project is currently developing the next steps, we are keen to hear from any community groups interested in exploring ways to improve mental wellbeing through improving community connections.
