Telehealth Family Support Service
Telehealth is our free 1:1 support service where support is given over the phone, through email, FaceTime or NHS Attend Anywhere. Telehealth sessions are typically an hour a week, and we offer up to 6 sessions.
Telehealth can support you if you live in rural or remote locations, can’t travel far, cannot get childcare, or do not live near a support group or service.
The quickest way to get in touch with us about Telehealth is through our helpline:

One of our helpline advisers will chat with you and will answer any questions you may have. We will take your contact details and will pass them onto one of our practitioners. The practitioner will contact you within five working days. If we have a waiting list we will let you know.
In the first session, the practitioner will ask you a few questions and talk through the different ways they can support you. They will then arrange a suitable time to call each week. If something comes up and you need to change the time or day of a session, contact the practitioner and let them know.
Our practitioners are trained in CRAFT (Community Reinforcement and Family Training). CRAFT is a well-known programme that teaches family members ways to help their loved ones and to feel better themselves. It encourages family members to change the way they interact with their loved one to positively influence them to change. If you feel CRAFT isn’t for you, we can look at other ways to support you.
