The George Street Service
The friendly and experienced staff regularly help customers on a wide range of matters, such as:
-advice on the housing options that may be available to you if you are looking for somewhere else to stay
-providing support to help you move into your first tenancy and make sure you don't lose your home
-providing a one-stop shop with specialist in-house expertise available on health, addiction liaison service, and other key support
-help if you are experiencing problems such as domestic violence
-housing benefit issues and money matters
-looking for training and employment opportunities
There are also regular group sessions held at the service on a variety of tenancy sustainment issues such as:
A Home for Keeps (young persons/new tenants)
Women's Aid (domestic violence)
Fit for Life (health, well-being and fitness)
Steps for success (confidence building)
Network (volunteering, training, careers and employment)
