West Dunbartonshire Improving the Cancer Journey

by West Dunbartonshire Improving the Cancer Journey Claimed

Cancer doesn't just affect your physical well being it can affect every aspect of your life, from your emotions to your finances. However, often people don't know where to turn for support. That's why West Dunbartonshire Council and Macmillan Cancer Support have launched the Improving Cancer Journey (ICJ) Service. Our Service is here to help people affected by cancer get the support they need, whether it's financial, emotional, medical or practical.

Improving the cancer journey is a service available to all cancer patients within the West Dunbartonshire Council area.

Once you get in touch we will arrange for you to meet with a dedicated Macmillan ICJ Officer who will help complete a Needs Assessment, a tool used to make sure your needs and concerns are identified.

A Needs Assessment can be carried out in a variety of convenient locations including: West Dunbartonshire Libraries, council offices, by home visit or in a hospital setting.
