Whistle-stop Café, the latest Working Together project. The small 20 seat café based in Tweedbank provides trainings and work experience opportunities for adult’s with learning disabilities to gain the skills required for accessing employment opportunities within their local community.
The café which is currently open Monday to Friday 10.00 am to 4.00pm, provides light lunches daily as well as a selection of scones, tray bakes and cakes. A variety of teas, coffees and soft drinks are also on the menu. There is a children’s play area and there also baby changing facilities.
