Women's Aid Drop In service

by Women's Aid East and Midlothian (WAEML)

A confidential service that provides information, support and temporary accommodation to women and their children who have experienced domestic abuse.

We work with you, at your pace and on your terms. We know that making the first step is really hard. We won’t make a judgement if you decide to stay. We will stick by you even if the going gets tough.

We have three support centres (Dalkeith, Penicuik and Musselburgh) that provide a place for women to access trained and experienced workers to discuss their situation.

Dalkeith has a drop-in Monday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday from 10.00am-12noon and Tuesday from 1.00pm-3.00pm

Fisherrow Community Centre (Room F8) has a drop-in every Monday and Thursday from 1.00pm-3.00pm and Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday from 10.00am-12noon.

Please note that Penicuik is by appointment only.
