Young Adult Carers

by Lanarkshire Carers Claimed

Are you aged between 18–25? Do you provide unpaid care for a family member or friend with an illness, disability, mental health condition or an addiction?

Lanarkshire Carers understands that the support needs of young adult carers may sometimes be different to those of other carers. We have a dedicated project for young adult carers providing:

Confidential advice and emotional support to help with your caring role
Support in accessing and applying for educational, employment and training opportunities
Ongoing social groups for young adult carers to relax and talk with others
