Hi. This is ALISS, A Local Information System for Scotland.

[00:00:08]

ALISS is a national digital program that helps people find and share information on health and well-being resources, services, groups, and support in their local communities and online.

[00:00:23]

ALISS is funded by the Scottish Government and is delivered by the Health and Social Care Alliance Scotland.

[00:00:32]

ALISS was developed because people across Scotland found it difficult to find accurate and up-to-date information about health and well-being services. With ALISS, this information is right at your fingertips.

[00:00:49]

So how does it work?

[00:00:52]

You can search for services and support by location or by keyword.

[00:00:58]

By default, the search is set to "where."

[00:01:02]

Pop a location into the search box, click search, and you will see a list of all services in your area.

[00:01:10]

There are a variety of sort and filter options to narrow your search and help you find what you are looking for.

[00:01:17]

The resources you find on ALISS are added by people living and working in the community.

[00:01:24]

Do you know about a community group, activity, or service in your local area? Let others know by adding them to the system.
