Take to the Water CIC

Take to the Water CIC Logo

Take to the Water is an initiative using the power of nature and cold water to bring people together and enhance health and wellbeing.

Our sessions help individuals explore the recognised benefits of cold water for mental clarity, physical health, emotional resilience, and stress reduction.

Through regular guided dips, we create safe, inclusive spaces where participants of all backgrounds feel welcomed and supported—no matter their experience level. We offer introductory sessions to help people access cold water safely and with confidence, demystifying the process and ensuring key water safety knowledge is shared in accessible, friendly ways.

The project lead is a trained Mental Health First Aider with over 10 years' experience overseeing mindfulness and wellbeing programmes in both corporate and third sector environments.

By combining movement, mindfulness, and connection, Take to the Water supports individuals in developing resilience and improving wellbeing.
