Greater Easterhouse Supporting Hands (G.E.S.H)
Greater Easterhouse Supporting Hands – a community centre with a difference. GESH is situated in the heart of Easterhouse and offers a positive hub of community, friendship and care to over 600 members, and particularly those with mental and physical disabilities. But GESH really is a community facility for everyone – people around the Greater Easterhouse area use the centre on a weekly basis as a thriving social club and as an entertainment, activity and political venue.
GESH plays a central role in the local community: the centre holds bowls, country and western dancing, local councillor surgeries, community council meetings, bingo nights, exercise classes, and numerous activities for disabled people throughout the local area. Take a look around the website to find out more about our famous Friday night disco, wheelchair basketball, DJ courses and all our other fun and friendly events and activities.
