Held In Our Hearts

Held In Our Hearts Logo

We are a Scottish charity, based in Edinburgh, providing accessible, flexible and compassionate support to families who have experienced pregnancy, baby, or infant loss (up to pre school age). We currently provide support in Lothian, Borders, Fife, Forth Valley and Highlands. Our innovative Hospital to Home project is an opt-out service offering six home visits to newly bereaved parents, bridging the gap between clinical and community care. This ensures whole-family support during the crucial early weeks and months.  Beyond this period, families can also access peer support and counselling, with the length and type of support being tailored to the families' needs.Families can self-refer or can be referred by a health professional. There is no time limit for accessing our support and all of our services are free. No one should be alone after pregnancy, baby or infant loss. We are here for anyone affected.
