3D Families (formerly 3D Drumchapel)
3D Families has been journeying with children and their families in Drumchapel to build strong foundations for families to thrive for over 27 years.
The Charity was set up in 1997 through the compassion, hope and desire for social justice by local churches in response to need and maintains this founding ethos based on Christian values to this day.
The Charity has evolved throughout the years from only 1 member of staff supporting around 20 parents to 20 members of staff supporting over 500 families. We have now developed a unique model for locality family support that is recognised as good practice across Glasgow and beyond.

Services
Our Intensive Family One-to-One Support is designed for families involved with social work intervention, providing tailored, focused support to help navigate complex challenges.
Our children and family services provide a wide range of fun, engaging activities that support children’s development while strengthening family bonds.
We offer volunteering opportunities for parents both within our children and family sessions and at our Bairn Necessities and Bairns Boutique.
Our perinatal services are here to walk alongside you through pregnancy, birth, and those early months with your little one.
Our Family Support in Primary Schools programme works directly with children, parents, and school staff to provide practical guidance, emotional support, and early intervention.
Our programmes and support services for dads provide opportunities to connect, learn, and grow, while also focusing on wellbeing and family relationships.
Our services offer guidance, practical strategies, and a safe space for families to connect, share experiences, and build confidence in supporting their child’s unique needs.
We are sharing our approach, tools and service delivery model through a unique blend of training opportunities covering everything that is required to facilitate successful family support services.
Our aim is to save local families money by offering children’s toys, clothing and equipment, free or at low cost.
Bairn’s Boutique is a small charity shop, based in the MicroShops within Drumchapel Shopping Centre that sells pre-loved and new clothing and accessories for children aged 0-5 years.
A diverse programme of fun activities for local mums to meet others in the community.
Monthly peer support group for any parent who has completed, or is currently involved with, the Triple P parenting programme.
