Signpost International SCIO
Signpost International exists to eradicate suffering and poverty in all its forms. We work globally with people based on their expressed needs, irrespective of race or religion, and seek to target the most vulnerable and marginalised.
We work through partnerships with local organisations and communities to bring transformation through appropriate, sustainable, and community-led programmes. Currently, we have live projects in Uganda, Kenya, and Malawi.
Closer to home in Dundee, our programmes seek to reduce food waste & improve food security by turning surplus food into nutritious meals distributed through local foodbanks & larders.
Since starting this initiative in 2021 we have produced more than 32,000 meals from 25 tonnes of surplus food. Alongside this, we deliver workshops on growing & cooking to children & community groups, seeking to build confidence, skills, and a love of good food.

With volunteers we turn surplus foods into meals for distribution through larders. We have a community garden space and a cafe from where we run cookery & nutrition courses.
