Over 6,000 babies are born premature or sick in Scotland every year. Bliss Scotland was established in 2009 to provide support to those babies and their families right across Scotland. Bliss Scotland is part of Bliss, the UK’s leading charity for babies born premature or sick, and is registered with the Scottish Charity Regulator (OSCR).
Bliss Scotland’s vision is that every baby born premature or sick in Scotland has the best chance of survival and quality of life.
Bliss Scotland champions the right for every baby born premature or sick to receive the best care. We achieve this by empowering families, influencing policy and practice, and enabling life-changing research.
